After graduating from UCLA, our Founder, Jane, was working for one of the Big Four as a management consultant.
She found herself engulfed in a whirlwind of tasks, client meetings, and working until midnight was very common.
Besides having no work-life balance at all, what was scaring her more was that she was swallowed by the identity of being a management consultant. She felt she had to portray an image of rationality, high achievement, perhaps a touch of coldness and monotony.
Pre-Conception
One Friday, Jane put on a pair earrings, her co-workers were a bit surprised about this side of her genuinely intrigued, and corporate conversation gave way to discussions about her personal passions.
In those moments, Jane experienced a newfound sense of liberation. Her accessories transformed into a silent rebellion against the monotony of corporate life.
No longer confined by the boundaries of a predefined professional image, she found a way to authentically express herself.
The Founding Moment
Yet, the existing jewelry designs were either too bold for the workplace or too plain to capture the essence of her fearless spirit, the empowerment she sought, and the beauty she wished to convey.
Undeterred, Jane took matters into her own hands. She embarked on the creation of a jewelry line that seamlessly blended boldness with everyday suitability.
She hopes that the jewelry line will empower others to express different facets of themselves.
